IM creating a website and im adding a page called advertise with us. I need some rates to advertise people banners or text link ads on my pages. What are some good rates?

Answer:
There's a lot of factors that goes into how much you should charge.

Main questions adverrisers will ask are:
1. How much traffic do you’ve?
2. How many very special users per month?
3. How many impressions / page views?
4. Who goes to the site?
5. What kind of ad opportunities do you offer?
6. What ad sizes do you accept?
7. What's compelling about your site that drives people to go there
8. What kind of content/service do you offer?

Depending on your answers, most web publishers charge on a CPM rate which means you pay a specific rate for every 1,000 ads/impressions served. CPM rates vary depending on all the answers to the questions above (and there are more questions).

Depending how big your site is, how popular, and how “niche” your content, advertisers pay anywhere from as low as $1 CPM to $50 CPM rates or higher.

If you don't have a lot of impressions/page views, I suggest signing up for Google Ad Sense. If you do, then you may want to be part of an ad network.
