How would you build a respectable name in fashion, well enough to begin your own clothing line
Answer:
start small and work your way up. maybe be a designer at a well known clothing line. after my friend's friend graduated from college majoring in fashion design she got a job to be one of the designers at American eagle outfitters,and she wants to become big one day and her plan is to after working and networking there she could use the money she saved up to start her own line. i want to be a fashion designer, also, when i grow up, so good luck to both of us. =]

The best way to do it is be a relative of someone famous or rich. Otherwise, it's very difficult. Try getting a break on one of those reality shows where they’re looking for new designers. You may get lucky if you are very talented.
