I'm opening a tiny girls clothes store and I want to hang a banner saying something like this:
“My store name” Grand Opening
“Brand name (like GAP or so)” clothes for girls *New & Resale*
Am I in legal trouble for naming the brand clothes I'm selling?
Thanks a lot
Answer:
most manufacturers will give retailers a certain amount of discount off of their orders direct when the manufacturer's name and logo is going into the retailers ads. its a trade out (comes out of the advertising slush fund encompassing many ways to skin a cat and the manufacturer will furnish you with camera ready artwork as well.
Answer:
their advertising budget includes even making the banner for you! I know budweiser will make the banners for bars! All that advertising collectables came from manufacturers signs painted on buildings sides and billboards all corporate funded like: buy your bud at bill's ahead four miles on the left. Report Abuse
