Answer:
Off the top of my head, if the draw to this club is music, the club should have its own MySpace site with photos and calendar of upcoming guest musicians. Make sure the owners have permission to upload customer pics first!
You could even create two MySpace profiles, one for the name of the club and the other named something like “Chicago” Club Central. People often conduct searches based on location.
Then they should create a presence on Yelp. Take a tour of other clubs in similar markets and copy their promotion tactics. It helps to get friends and families to sign up for Yelp to post their own reviews and photos to break the ice for other customers. Believe it or not, Yelp is quickly overtaking traditional newspapers as a way to find out what’s happening in local communities.
Answer:
Tell him that you’ll get interviewed by a reporter for the local newspaper.
If that works, you will offer to appear on the tv station's morning show at 6am. Everyone dreams of a glamorous “club life”. You can tell about it.
Answer:
www.solutions51.com will custom design flyers, posters, and business cards. They work until you get what you want. Plus really good prices.
