Does this career pay well? and tell me all that you do in your job.

Answer:
Yes, I have a degree in Radio Broadcasting and Audio production….Currently, I edit features (audio clips) and imput commercials for a radio station in NYC. I have also participated in various other aspects of the music industry such as publicity and technical crew, music recording and tv production. The programs used are fairly easy, but the editing of sound is a tedious and downright boring process, I am not gonna lie. You must also be creative.

This is a very hard, competitive field that pays very poorly. I think its worth it though; I went into radio cuz I love music and wanted to do the next best thing. ( I lack the talent to play an instrument) But it takes a lot of effort and if you are looking to make lots of money and move up the corporate ladder really fast, this is not the career for you. It takes years of paying your dues and you are always dispensable. Its also pretty corporate no matter how different it seems..but if you love music and sound, go for it.
