When is the best time to go looking gor a job?

To go get applications and turn them in for a 17 year old…. Like in the morning or in the afternoon??

Hello - the best possible time to look for a job in restaurants is usually on a monday or Tuesday - for some reason rest. are not that busy on Tuesdays. Time would be 10a.m - 11:00 a.m. before lunch, and then between 2:00 - 4:30 before the dinner crowd and getting set up for dinner, and also usually at that time the Mgr. on Duty is always there! Make sure when you go, dress up look professional and when you get your application fill it out there then when done, immediately ask to speak with someone available to speak with who does the hiring, usually you will get hired on the spot. They like to see outgoing people with smiles, eyecontact and customers coming first! so….give them a handshake introduce yourself tell them what you are interested in, experience (quickly) smile all the time and make eyecontact!!! Let me know how you make out, also you need to be a teamplayer working in a restaurant as you always need backup when you get slammed so be sure to tell them you are a teamplayer and don't mind helping others as one hand washes the others! good luck and let me know how you make out.

If you have to go to school try to get in there around 7 oclock in the morning.If you have to be in school then take in your application right away after school at 3:30. Dont wait till later unless you wait till around 7 at night at a restaurant.Try to wait till thing seem a bit slow and take that time to hand it to the manager.Always ask for the manager or shift manager is ok.Dont just hand it to any cashier.You need to be seen by the manager.They sum up what kind of personal appearance and hygeine you have in that moment.So be neat and clean.get a haircut.

The person above me said 10am-11am. I know if someone came to my restaurant at that time looking for a job I would find that disrespectful. That is the critical time right before lunch. Standard is 3-5 so stick with that. If they are busy leave and come back the next day.
