Strangely enough, the best move that I had was one that was imposed upon me, rather than one I interviewed for.

I was working as a project manager, and my company experienced a bit of a financial crunch. My team was slowly shrinking, and I was wondering if I should look for a job or not. Then my manager told me that I was being moved to another group (in derivatives operations) managing a small team of people. I didn't know anything about derivatives or managing people, but I went anyway.

Turns out I loved both, and have been working in the field since 2002. Luckily someone else saw in me what I'd be good at, and gave me the chance!

Answer:
When I was a stay at home mom but now I am back at work. When I was at home for my children and my husband; and they had my full attention and all was a well oiled postive productive working machine (cooking, cleaning, planning, sexing & parenting etc.). Then we needed more room for the children and family in laws. So we had to move into a bigger place which meant we needed more income. So, maybe in a year or two once we save up and get adjusted to our new living situation. I can once again be there for my family all the time; but not that im not there now but I have other obilgations besides family. Its ok for now but soon I will b home again. so stay sweet and safe.
