Marketing please help?

I have been given the opportunity to expand my job role as administrator and become a marketing assistant i am going to be learning on the job for a while to se if this is what i want to do, before i begin training. Is there any good websites that can give me some information on marketing?

pick up this book called Marketing Management by Philip Kotler….. its like the encyclopedia for marketing…. plus you could use this book for future reference once you’ve stepped into your new role.
