May
I've only been working there for about a month. I hate it to be honest, and thankfully I start my new job on June 1st, so I'm letting them know a week in advance before taking my leave.
But, I feel guilty for some reason. Blaah, someone give me a pep talk.
Answer:
OK Kid, here’s your pep talk.
You need to do what’s ideal for you, and working for that company isn't it. You lined up a new job, so you have done the right thing there. You worked hard while you were at this job, and gave them a good month. However, during that month you learned that it wasn't the right fit, and now it is time to move on. I always state that there can be no loyalty in working anymore because if they’d decided they didn't like your work, or if you weren’t a good fit, they wouldn't have thought twice about firing you. It is business and you need to look out for yourself. You are not being selfish or bad, you are just being smart.
How was that. Good luck and have fun at your new job.
Answer:
dont feel guilty, i recently quit my job, i had it for a month and a half, my back and feet hurt, i was putting in 11 and 12 hour days and my bosses were trying to treat me like crap. i just finally had enough and stated i quit and i'm leaving. you can just be honest, tell them this job isn’t for you and that you can not stay because you’ve gotten another job. or just say you must leave because of personal reasons, you dont have to tell them what the persoanl reasons are.
Answer:
You shouldn't feel guilty because if you hate it, you’re not going to give it your all (you may have been doing a great job but if you loved it, you would do even better). Leaving is to their benefit as well as yours, now they can find someone who love it and excel in it.
No guilt, it's a waste of time.
Congratulations on your new job!

What's so wrong with this job that you hate it? I think you should take a superior look at it before you go and quit. Is your new job superior? I hope so… Good luck anyway (I couldn't have topped your other pep talk…) Book Mark it-> del.icio.us | Reddit | Slashdot | Digg | Facebook | Technorati | Google | StumbleUpon | Window Live | Tailrank | Furl | Netscape | Yahoo | BlinkList
