i want to be a RN but hw do i do it on the web and how mch is it? thanx

Answer:
Says prohibit entirely on the internet programs for initial licensure and require seat time in a classroom in most cases. Especially because there are skills where you must learn, and most nursing schools have a specific nursing lab with mannequins, simulation programs, and other equipment you can use to learn these skills. There is also required clinical hours that must be spent in various hospitals and clinics. Don't underestimate the value of sitting in class. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, receive immediate feedback, and most importantly you might form some of the ideal relationships in your life with your classmates.

There might some individual courses on the web, especially the non-nursing courses that are required as part of your degree available . But you won't be able to earn your nursing license without some seat time.

The on the internet programs are for primarily for RNs who are already licensed and are completing their BSN or MSN as they do not need to learn skills and do not have as many clinical experiences, and the clinicals they do have are arranged privately, and are observation experiences where a nursing faculty / instructor does not need to be present. The courses have a website you work through and you post discussions, submit papers and assignments, and take open-book quizzes through that site.

If you earn your associates degree RN and are looking to finish the BSN, beware the for-profit schools like Uni. of Phoenix. They’ll charge you double to triple what a state college or university and even what private ones would cost. Instead, look for locally based schools.
