Answer:
There is life after unemployment and that's true at any age. You’ve to go through a few periods of emotions before you can pick yourself up to move on so expect the denial, anger, fear, etc. to settle in. Get past it and move on. You're “ONLY” 49 which means you have another 15 years of work life that kids today can’t offer because of moving, families, schooling, etc. You’ve how many years of life and work experience that young people don't have and can't offer. Your age is an advantage to companies. You’re old enough to offer your experiences and young enough to offer your experiences. Good feeling, eh??? When you feel the confidence you can pass that confidence on. Retraining isn’t a bad idea… we have the ability to always learn new things and you may qualify for programs for financial help. Ask about them. If you can get free career and emotional counseling, go for it!!! Network with others. Get your name out there. Read. Take a class. Get your GED. Do something, anything, to meet new people and learn new things. You are not too old. Write them down 100 times. Commit the belief to memory and to heart. You’ve another 15 plus years to offer even if it takes 3 years to retrain, you'll have 12 years to offer. You’ve maturity, stability, and experience to offer. You can get a job at 59. You can get a job at 69. Do what you love and love what you do. The money will follow your passion. Motivate yourself or get others to help motivate you. Write your resume. Rewrite your resume. Mail your resume. Search Monster. Post your resume on Monster. Visit the unemployment bureau. Go look at colleges or trade schools. The right job is out there for you but it won't find you… you'll have to find it.

I’m a 53 retried VET and I make money on the internet at

http://shellcash.com/members/register.ph… is a great way to make extra money. The site will ask you to finish surveys and offers and those companies will then pay you. Unlike most work at home jobs this is one is really legit and actually sends real checks to you at the end of the month. I’ve already made over $2500 from this website and keep it mind that everything is free.I’ll love to answer any questions that you might have regarding this just contact me:
