I have submitted over 100 applications in my area and on the web. Everyone requires 2 years experience. How do I get it if no one will hire me?
Answer:
Go back to the school you got your certificate from and ask the job placement department about that. All schools like to be able to brag about how many graduates they place so they’ll have the ideal information available for you. It might involve some volunteer work while you make a living doing something else. Also go in person to the institutions near you and ask for an information interview. Be prepared to offer to make a sample of your work from taped notes they have the ability to provide so they have the ability to tell that you are superior than average and don't need all the experience to do a good job for them.
Answer:
You and everyone else. It is unbelievable to me how colleges and trade schools ignore the trend of employers requiring experience in addition to the degree. I was fortunate that my teachers stressed the importance of internships to us. However, many of my school mates weren’t so lucky. I concur you should go back to the school and ask them about job placement!!! Also, you might be able to find a lesser, related job that will get your foot in the door for a company you would like to work for.
