If you want to be a Registered Nurse, with a B.Sci. degree, at a “good” school, entry standards are high, as befits training in a very responsible profession.

There are other related occupations which might have less demanding standards. Being a Registered Practical Nurse, Personal Help Assistant, and Nursing Assistant, are some other options in health care.

These occupations are in great demand, now and in the future. Nursing was considered “politically incorrect” by some “feminists” in previous decades. Nurses trained earlier are now retiring, leaving a gap that’ll grow.

My daughter was uncertain about career training. When she asked me about Nursing, I responded that it was a skill which would make her a useful member of any community where she might find herself. Also, even if she disliked nursing, as such, it was a good place from which to look for other work.

She has become a Public Health Nurse, and just loves her job. She likes with small babies and their families, and finds real meaning in her work with teenage sexuality information workshops. She knows so much useful stuff, I keep calling her for information for me or a friend.

It's not too early for you to begin contacting schools of nursing that might be of interest to you. Economic assistance is more available than in many other programs.

As the Baby Boomers age, the need for people with medical skills is going to be growing very rapidly.

Bust your butt, starting right now. Even if you should select another career, getting the ideal grades possible, starting as early as possible will make you a stronger applicant in any field.

I wish you a successful and happy career.

Answer:
Nursing isn’t a hard profession to get into at all. And if you're determined to be a nurse it's not hard at all. In my opinion though the easiest way to begin out is to get your CNA License first and work as an Aide as you go through the Nursing Program. That way you have some experience in what you are doing. Also you will have some god references from employeers when you do become a nurse and try to get a job

Answer:
Nursing practice is primarily the caring relationship between the nurse and the person in their care. In providing nursing care, nurses are implementing the nursing care plan, which is based on a nursing assessment.

There are a number of educational paths to becoming a professional nurse, which vary greatly worldwide, but all involve extensive study of nursing theory and practice and training in clinical skills.

I would also like to advocate that you will not get enough money in this profession.
