im applying for my 1st job and im being asked.please help.
Answer:
Salary means that you will get paid a base pay no matter how many hours you put in during your pay period. Usually they want you to work 45 or more hours depending on what position its for. Hourly is the dollar amount you get paid per hour for the hours you work.
Answer:
Usually management positions are salaried and the employer assumes that you belong to them at their beckoned call, since it means that o/t supposedly doesn't apply. Hourly means that o/t probably does apply. I would also assume that an hourly manager would probably be someone who was either shift oriented or at least more related to production than someone on salary. I would think about my choice on such a matter before I commited, because they could be looking at company loyalty as an issue rather than how they’re going to pay you.
Answer:
hourly you get time and a half for overtime hours and salary you don't get anything, maybe a bonus Book Mark it-> del.icio.us | Reddit | Slashdot | Digg | Facebook | Technorati | Google | StumbleUpon | Window Live | Tailrank | Furl | Netscape | Yahoo | BlinkList
