Need help with calling about getting a job.?

I applied for some jobs last Thursday and they said the would get back to me by this day, but if they didn't to call them. I’m about to call them but what should I say? Should I ask to speak to a manager or something. Any help would be great, thx.

Move on, and try to find another job. Don't sound so despair with the company. However, each time you completed an interview, just send Thank You letter, that will be enough.
