Today, I had called this job I was recently interviewed in and I asked if I had the job and she said she was gonna call me for a “try in”, but she wasn't gonna call today. What’s that? I'm thinking it's for training or something, but I'm not sure. What does this mean? Thanks in advance.

Answer:
You should really ask her. It probably depends on what type of job it is. Some sales jobs let you try one day of door to door or business to business sales and if you don't enjoy it or if they don't like you, you can go home but I don't think you get paid for the day. So you should really really ask her before you go.

Answer:
I'd guess she wants to give you the job but kind of like a probationary period. If she doesn't like you or the way you work then she can fire you with no questions asked. Shell give you a try in other words. So go and work your butt off to make a good impression and the job will be yours.
