I am going to apply for my first internship and they require a resume`. I have no prior work experience in the field (social work) as of yet, but I have excellent grades and wonderful recommendations. How can I make my schooling stand out to these potential supervisors?
Answer:
You don't indicate if you are a BA or MA level student.
Assuming BA be sure to put your current GPA and if you were on Deans list. Note any awards, clubs and leadership.
Also be sure to put ALL jobs and highlight in your duties those things that are similar or relevant to social work (e.g. customer service, marketing, budgeting, etc.)
Also be sure to include all your volunteer experience.
