I don't know if anyone has tried selling old gold jewelry or class rings, but if you do, Do Not Use this place (USGoldbuyers.com)!!! I called them on a Friday, told them what I had, was told by one of their employees, (I won't mention Stan's name) that I could expect a payment of about $340.00. I thought “Wow” that will come in handy. So when they recieved my pkg. and assessed it, imagine my surprise & mood when I was told that I would only receive $131.00. When I had the audacity to question this I was told that after I jumped through a few hoops, they would send my property back to me via fedex at my cost. I spoke with a “Partner” in the business, his name was Gene Furr, after finally locating my file, he told me “they were doing me a favor by buying my gold”, I found this rather poor business practice and I became even more frustrated. Very poor business practices indeed, they would not even address the fact that their employee screwed up. When I questioned this, they (Gene) refused to issue my payout and insisted upon me sending a release form to them so that they could send my property back to me.
So, overall, I would state my experience with these morons was LESS than satisfactory!!!! BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE!
Answer:
Try united gold refineries, they essay your gold and pay you about 97% of what your gold value is, Any other place like goldkit.com will RIP you off, I have heard stories worst than that before. Good luck with united or try garfield refiners they cater to jewelers but will deal with individuals.
Answer:
I'm not familiar with that company. There are a bunch of other companies out there that you see advertising on TV a lot … one of them is very reputable
