A Belgian-Brazilian company bought the brewery
The new company will be called Anheuser-Busch InBev. All American brewery Anheuser remain open and chief executive of InBev, Carlos Brito, will be the chief executive of the combined company. Anheuser will have two seats in the Council.

it is not a private company. you can still purchase stock in the company, it is just not listed as BUD anymore.
