I want to know what do u have to major in in order to become a CEO.
Answer:
While a good many CEOs have majored in business, economics or finance, there is really no one best degree. Much will depend on which industry you work in - technology companies are more likely to have someone familiar with IT then, state, an Agriculture company.
Mostly, becoming a CEO means putting in years of hard work and being successful at whatever you do. You will need to move up the corporate ladder, competing against other employees who also want to move up. There are fewer than 200,000 companies huge enough to really require a CEO (smaller companies are usually owned by someone or a limited number of folks and will mots likely not hire a CEO/President outside those few folks) and you’ll be competing for probably fewer than 20,000 job opening per year (assuming a 10% turnover rate among CEOs). Most of these firms will have multiple Vice Presidents, EXec. VPs, COO's or CFOs who will all be competing for the same job.
Answer:
you can major in basket weaving and become a CEO. what you study usually has no bearing.
