is this one of those scam jobs? is it worth the time and effort to pursue?

Answer:
I' am glad you ask. I recently quit this company along with with Metropolitan events which is the exact same. They train you to become a manager in a year. This is full commission until you make it to management. The office they have is a joke and it's located around warehouses. In matter of fact you don't get an office until you work your way up to manager.

The basic daily routine is your in Home Depot stores for 6 hours to promote their specialty services. You walk around to try to get leads and if you don't get leads you don't get paid. You’ve to get 18 leads within a weak to make it to the next level. Believe me, if you are not a natural salesperson it will be hard for you. The thing with these marketing campaigns is the manager has no clue how the economy is effecting customers he thinks sales are easy to come by. I certainly didn't like doing the home depot campaign.

Bottom line, this job isn't worth it unless you are a high school drop out or have an alternative fuel automobile (you will drive a lot!) don't even waste your time. The majority of these people are under 30 and didn't go to college. They also make you work every day and that's only on commission! Pure B.S. They don't even pay you the commission that you will get they say they’ll pay me $40 a commission but I only got $20 a commission. They also lied to me about getting a base salary. These people have no shame. Don't waste your time. Two people I know quit within thier first 2 days and I eventually left a weak and a half later.
