there are two companies that I deal with on a regular basis that that don't respond to please and thank you. If I want to get anything done I have to be an @$$. Why is that? I don't enjoy being that way. It makes me physicaly sick to do that. Why can't compainies do things for me when I call the first time and say please. There are people who are good at being an @$$ I'm not one of them.

Answer:
You pay them for a service and they need to be reminded of that. Worst case I would suggest that you will be making a complaint to the BBB if they continue to be lax with your concerns and issues - that may change their tune quickly. I am a firm believer in - the squeeky wheel gets the oil - but you shouldn't be stressing out over it. I can't stand when you call someone like that and they treat you poorly - there is no reason for it — i have found myself saying to people - I can hear that you might be having a bad day and I am sorry for you but I am being polite and trying to get something taken care of and I don't think your frustration, which might be justified, should be taken out on me. - usually there is a moment of silence, but I have never not had it work. Good luck

That is how Corporate America is these days. You have to be an @$$ to get answers or get things done, and you have to be an @$$ (dumb@$$ at that) to climb up the corporate ladder. Sadly, good, honest, hard work doesn't count anymore.
