What’s the most nerve racking work-related negotiation you’ve had?

Negotiating with federal government auditors. Actually, it's not really a negotiation; that would imply that both parties have some power. The exercise is more like running across a highway repeatedly trying to avoid getting crushed by an 18 wheeler.

And then, when you think they're done, they come back again. But, once you go through a few of them it's get easier, I'm told.

This is, frankly, not THE most nerve wracking, but it is up there on the list. THE most nerve-wracking is too unbelievable to recount.

I wonder if I will get the BA for this one? Stiff competition. LOL
