Has anybody used this company? Me and my partner have applied for a loan with them and got told straight away we had been accepted. (We had been refused by our bank previously as our history had a couple of defaults). I have paid the £49.50 Administration fee and am now waiting on the documents coming through to be signed. This loan is for a car, and we have paid out £750 deposit on it, waiting on the loan to pay the rest. Now i'm very worried as it looks like the company has had a lot of bad comments with failure to pay out. Can anyone let me know if they have had any succecess with a loan through Advantage or have you had any problems with them? Please help, as i'm extremly worried! Thanks
Answer:
its all a big scam….the company will send you letters out with application forms to apply to the companies that they recommend will give you a loan which is what you have paid for. Most of the companies will still refuse you like they did to us and you've paid £49.50 for F all

Oh dear, it sounds to me that you have been the victim of a con.
A few years ago I needed to buy a car and paid £39.90 to a broker to find a lender for me. Like you they said I had a loan lined up. It never happened.
You would have been better off buying a car outright for the £750 and running it until you could afford something better.
I bought a car for £400 thinking it would last a few months. 2 years later it is still going strong and has never let me down. Modern cars are so more reliable than they used to be.
Forget all this number plate snobbery, a car will only ever take you from A to B whether it is brand new and depreciating in value by the minute or an old banger that is costing nothing.
Try Welcome Car Finance if you must have a new car.
