I’ve kept in contact with my loan officer, and told her everything. I’m just wanting an answer. Thanks,

Answer:
No, not likely. If you are in contact and explain yourself, they will usually work with you. Most times, it takes closer to 3 months for a repo.

A site I've used to compare quotes in the past …

Best of luck to you.

Ditto on the 11/30/07?
But anyway, 40 days is nothing to worry about. Banks are very desperate to keep customers these days. Even when the economy was good, chances are, it wouldn't get repoed until after 90 days late. Now with the economy, if a bank repos your automobile and your loan is for 20000, they would sell it at auction and only get about 10000 tops for it. They'd loose so much money on it. Most banks realize this and are working with customers to prevent all this loss. Just keep talking to them and I can almost promise you that everything will be okay.

11/30/07? Am I missing something or hasn't this date already passed?

Typically they won't start thinking about the repo process until you are at least 60+ days behind. This happened to me some years ago, and they didn't even begin to use these words until I went past the 90 day mark.

I think keeping in contact with them is your best bet and you should be fine.

Answer:
It seems that automobile loans seem difficult to get in hand recently. The websites places are easy to check and sometimes easier to quailify sometimes.

My friend recently used http://auto.deal4-you.com
