Next month I’m about to go through open enrollment through my employer. This year health insurance was costly. The took about $120 out of my pay check. To get more income next year, should I skip health insurance for at least one year.

Answer:
In answer to your question . . . NO, NO, NO & NO. DO NOT go without health insurance. The $120 you pay is a minimal amount to pay for peace of mind. Money is tight for EVERYONE right now. The economy is terrible. I know how hard it is to keep up paying bills but please keep your health insurance. I work as a Director of Human Resources for a company in Manhattan and I could tell you some very hair-raising horror stories about what happened to people who didn't have health insurance. Don't think it's not a large deal because you're young. It is a massive deal at any age. Do yourself a favor and hold on to that health coverage.

Answer:
Health insurance is a provision against contingencies. Are you very sure that you will not fall sick during the next year? I have never known any such person in my life who can successfully predict a 100% healthy life. According to me, it makes more sense to pay a small amount from your hard earned kitty as insurance premium rather than repenting later just in case such a contingency does arise at the least expected time.

Answer:
Many factors unknown to fully answer that. Are you Single? Are you Healthy? Dependents that need Health Care? Family Health History? Age?

I would venture to say NO….don't drop it. Some companies have several plans though check and make sure you have the low level if you are that hard up for cash and a very healthy person.

Answer:
A current trip to the emergency room for a cut finger and one stitch cost about $1200. My recommendation is that you find another area to cut back instead of this insurance so that you can have the peace of mind to know that if you’re sick or get injured you can get the care you need.

Answer:
If you’re under 30 with no family/kids and your job doesn't involve anything more than sitting at a desk then ya you can if your in that much need of cash. BUT only if you're not going to spend it on beer and pizza. This is a large gamble and it must be worth it

Answer:
No no no no no! I was without health insurance for a year and it nearly crippled me. DO NOT cut back on your health insurance. Even if you don't use it that much, it is a life saver just in case you need to start going to the physician.

Answer:
NO. NEVER! You do not know what could happen. A year of gambling with your health is not a smart gamble at all. Oh sure - you saved money for a year….but what if something did happen….it would break you for good.

Answer:
I could tell you to get a psychic reading to see if anything would happen to you….but I won't.

Why don't you look into indiviudal coverage because it's usually about half the cost.

Answer:
no. get insurance from another place and not through your company. its gonna be a tiny pricy but you should be able to find it superior than 120 a month.

Answer:
If you are looking for something cheaper let me know I know of a substitute! But to answer your question…no!

Answer:
