seriously people!
Answer:
It isn't.
Answer:
Not for me… they quoted me SO much higher than my current insurance company.
Answer:
Funny this question came up because about an hour ago i just got a quote from them. I am paying 435$ for 6 months with progressive and i just found out that i will pay $330 for 6 months (full coverage) with Geico! So thats 210$ per year. So i guess you really do save hundreds with Geico. But truth is, i dont know how much progressive is going to charge me this year. Their rates might have dropped as much as Geico.
Answer:
How bout you compared rates with other companies?
Progressive, Allstate, Statefarm, AIG, Nationwide, E-surance.
Geico is not always cheaper, well in some cases, because other companies claim they are cheaper than Geico too. You just have to find out yourself.
Answer:
In my experience, no. I've found cheaper going through progressive and general.
Also, I had my car stolen a few years back when I had Geiko and they acted like I was the one who performed a crime. My car was recovered and sat in a tow yard for three weeks before I got a call about it and I couldn't afford the fees at the time so I had to give it up. It was a $12,000 car, Geiko's reinbersment: $600 which didn't even cover the impound charges. Even if they do turn out to be cheaper than whatever you are paying, they will make it hard for you if you have a problem so it's not worth it. I've never had any sort of problem with any other insurance agency.
Answer:
Mercury Insurance is the cheapest around.
Answer:
Not for me, AIG gave me better rates.

For me no. USAA is about 300 cheaper then Geico.
