I live in the United States. Every time I used to go to Canada I would come back with a lot of Canadian currency as change. Since everybody knows Canadian money is worthless in the US, I would always use the Canadian bills as toilet paper, thus saving the expense of having to buy toilet paper at the grocery store. I must have used at least $20,000 Canadian dollars as toilet paper over the years.
But now that Canadian money has risen in value, I'm starting to rethink the logic of my strategy. We all now that the rise of the value of Canadian money is just a fluke, but, nevertheless, maybe I should keep a little of my left over Canadian money and only use the small bills as toilet paper?
