A furniture store did not deliver my furniture. It's been 14 weeks. I got a claim through the bank because I used a debit card, and the store is fighting back. They are closing down. Is it any good to report to BBB? How do I do that?

Answer:
If they are closing down, there's really no point to reporting them.

Plus BBB will not help you recover your money. What the BBB will do is to simply contact the company that a complaint was filed, and that's it. They won't go after the company, nothing.

If the company responds, the BBB website will say that the company responded. But if not, the BBB website will just say the company did not respond. And chances are that they will not respond since they're going out of business anyway

BBB is just a NON PROFIT organization pretty much like Red Cross and other non profits. They don't have legal teeth like the Attorney General's Office or Federal Trade Commission. Their main goal is to simply let people know of other people's experiences in dealing with the company. And since this company is closing down, no one's going to be dealing with them anyway anymore
