I need to use the shipping calculator to compute how much it is gonna cost to send a Fender Stratocaster (Mexi) to this guy in Australia. I read on the web from a couple of different sources that Fender Stratocasters weighed about 4lbs so I'm guessing that's what the weight is. However I still need to know what kind of package it has to be sent in (Large Package/Oversize 1, Very Massive Package/Oversize 2, or Extra Massive Package/Oversize 3)… and also - would a guitar go in an irregular package? I have no idea so I'm hoping someone else does. Any answers you anyone can provide me with would be great.
Answer:
You need to pack up your guitar in a secure box that’ll not be damaged in shipping to Australia. Once you’ve the package, you will need to weigh it. You can't compute shipping for just the guitar.
I am not sure how you are shipping, but they shipping company (UPS, USPS, FEDEX) should be able to guide you on their website.
