I found a lottery email I replied to it and he call me 3 times and leave me this email:
We write to acknowledge the receipt of your mail contents well noted.
I went to the FedEx Courier to dispatch your package to you but the lady at their front desk told me after scanning the parcel that they don’t accept Draft, Money Order, Jewelries etc.
I therefore went to the issuing bank where your Draft was drawn to deposit your Draft and the bank manger to me that your funds we be delivered to you in Cairo-Egypt to deliver your funds to you at your doorstep through Diplomatic Courier.
He assured me that the Diplomat will be leaving any moment from now that unfailingly he must be in Cairo-Egypt by Monday 7th. July 2008 that as soon as he arrive Cairo-Egypt the Diplomat will call you so keep your number open.
Note the Bank Manager told me that you’re going to pay the Diplomat upon his arrival in Cairo Egypt the sum of US$5, 850
is this a scam or what
Answer:
Yes, all emails regarding lotteries or drawings that you did not knowingly or willingly enter are scams…don't people read the other Y!A questions to see that? Now this guy has your phone number and probably a good portion of your personal information. They are trying to get you to pay $5,850 which they’ll run off with…any lottery or drawing in which you have to pay anything but your states' legal taxes on is a scam, and most of those the taxes will be automatically taken out of your winnings.
Answer:
ABSOLUTELY ! It is classic. The same scams come from Nigeria, Canada, and some have even used Publishers Clearing House & Readers Digest as their source. Any time you’re told to wire them money to cover your winnings they are sending to you it is bogus. It is the biggest money laundering scam ever. If you want more info type in the name of the bank and rip off after it & see all the compaints
