The problem is that if THEY remain the highest bidder, they incurr all the charges of both buyer and seller.

Yes, I know a girl that if it doesn't look like she’s going to get the price she wants she has her friend bid on the item to make the price go higher.

Answer:
I was sure some people do but if you use the same paypal account for all your sites ebay can tell and they’ll block you from their site if they figure it out which is nearly always!

Answer:
Yes, I know a friend that did this but e-bay somehow checked up on his and his friends accouts and they both got blocked

lol

So some people get caught and cant i dont think its worth the risk !

Answer:
yes, but the way to counter it is to come in 15 secs out, this way they dont have time to respond to your bid its called sniping :)

Answer:
I doubt they do, they can but they cannot tell what your max bid was.

So if they’re cheating they are taking a risk.

Answer:
I think we once came up against one who did. But only one, out of 350 transactions.

Answer:
they don't do it scott free. If you sell your item, you pay a fee above and beyond the listing fee

Answer:
