I was counting on a lot of the stocks and mutual funds to cover expenses where I’m located. But with a little faith and a lot of work everything will be ok. The only thing that really bothers/hurts me is that I’m not as financially able to help people here as I once was.

However, there’s a person I know working here in the Philippines, which I do feel sorry for. He has been doing a lot to try help people and to fight some of the injustices and corruption here in the Philippines (some things with better results than others). He has been completely self-financed (which he wanted to remain), but the stock crash really injured him and his ability to help the people here. He lost enough to get him to the point that he’s starting to ask others for short-term assistance (which he plans to return). If anyone is curious here’s his web site: - http://troach.net

As for me, I might not have the cash finances I use to have. And it does get frustrating from time to time. But I’ve been in worse shape. And there are many people around me in much worse shape. Most have lived their entire life in poverty conditions that few people can even begin to envision. So I cannot complain and I am truly thankful for the blessings I am still graced with.

With some honest effort and some faith, Our Lord will see us through this tiny annoyance and things will be superior than they were before (with or without the stocks and the money). Besides “the treasures” we should worry most about accumulating and keeping are the ones that never loose their value, never rust or fade and are safely stored in the place that Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has prepared for us.

Might Our Creator watch over you and your family.
