Taxpayers might get $600 as part of an economic stimulus package in May. The whole point is to stimulate the US economy and push it out of a recession. The problem is that if we all spend our money on things we like, we'll end up stimulating foreign economies (ie, mostly China's). So what I want to know is what type of things should I buy that are made in America? Is anything made in America? If so, is there a list that someone has compiled?

Answer:
Groceries is a big one that comes to mind.

We all need to eat, and most things you'll find in your grocery are going to be USA made. Especially veggies. :)

Answer:
I was thinking that one thing I could do is buy a pre-paid credit card with the whole thing and use it exclusively as a gas card. Big oil company's are going to get it any way, so what the hell.
