I have a Abbey debit card and wish to use this in the bars etc in tenerife INSTEAD of changing all my money .
Is this ok to do this?
Answer:
Sure you can, but let your bank know about this.
I'm going as well for my 40th birthday. I've already informed the bank and they were impressed with the fact that I told them about it.
Answer:

Answer:

Just make sure the machine is working first in the bar…we didn't and after the meal realised that none of the cash machines in the area were working either!!
Answer:
yes you can, but it might be best to let your bank know you are going away, and tell them you are going to use your card abroad
Answer:
That is one way to have your ID stolen fast. Always have some jingle in your pocket when you go to a bar. Book Mark it-> del.icio.us | Reddit | Slashdot | Digg | Facebook | Technorati | Google | StumbleUpon | Window Live | Tailrank | Furl | Netscape | Yahoo | BlinkList
