I want to know if paying money before entering the nightclub.

It depends on the club. Some charge a cover fee (usually anywhere from $2 to $20, averaging around $5 to $10). Some don't charge anything, and others charge a fee only after a certain time (for example, fee after 10 pm or fee after 11 pm). Just call up the club to ask beforehand. I dont' know where you live, but usually larger cities have more clubs that charge a fee. I live in Toronto and most major clubs charge from 5-10$ but I went to school in a city about an hour away from here and most of the clubs didn't have any fee. Some have websites that might list the fee rate as well.

most places charge 10-20 dollars, unless its a really swanky place, then the cover charge is more. call the club you want to go to and they may be able to let you know the price. sometimes special nights have reduced fees for ladies, if you wear certain clothes (ex. “little black dress night”), etc.
