i want to start my own business. i've been making other people rich for too long now. i know how to run a business, i just don't know what i need to start one up.
Answer:
It's business plan time . . . do a business plan (lots of templates on line to choose from) . . . in the line or industry that you are interested in.
Then, one needs to offer up your "story" (your business idea) to people or financial institutions ~ they'll either believe in your dream wholely, partly, or not at all.
The best part about the business plan is that by the time you get through building it on paper ~ you'll have a good idea yourself if YOU want to do it (what ever it is) and if you find your passion high in it . . . it will be that much easier for you to talk to others about it with enthusiasm.
If you are unable to find any "financiers" . . . start where ever you can start with your own funding . . . and grow from there.
