In the UK, when you receive a letter from the inland revenue saying that you have paid too much tax and that they owe you money. After you have filled out the form they give you and send it back to them, how long does it take for them to pay the money back to you into your account?

Answer:
At this time of year it could be up to 3 months. (Or you could be lucky and get it in 3 weeks)

Answer:
i just phoned them up and recieved a cheque within 7 days
