Hello. does anybody know how much tax would be deducted on salary of 30 K?? By the way I live in Toronto,Ontario, Canada

Answer:
I got an estimate by using the payroll deducations calculator at the CRA web site. You stated 30K per year, so the calculation I did was based on 26 bi-weekly pay periods, which would come to $1,153.84 gross every two weeks.

Federal Tax: 101.25

Prov Tax: 56.89

CPP: 50.45

EI: 19.96

Net pay: 925.29
