we were scheduled for 4th of july batch and still we havent received anything we got our letter on the 2nd but still no check does anyone know if this problem is happening to others as well or should we call the i.r.s

Try to be patient. Holidays mess everything up. If you got your letter around the 4th, I would anticipate you'd have it by next week at the latest.
