I got back roughly 600 bucks more than I should have? Did I screw up my return and they fixed it or was that the stimulus I didn’t get last year?
Answer:
If you didn't get a stimulus rebate last year, the IRS will calculate your entitlement based upon your 2008 tax return. You qualified for $600 so they automatically added that to your refund. Enjoy, it's yours!
