If I purchase the basic H&R Block package, will I get the option to e-file an Injured Spouse Form 8379 with my Federal return?
Answer:
Yes, you can efile it with your original tax submission.
However, I don't believe the software will necessarily prompt you to fill out the form. Before hitting submit for your tax return, find the form, fill it out and then submit.
If you filed the tax return without the 8379, then the form must be mailed in. It cannot be efiled by itself.

I don't know about the H&R Block package, (the form should be apart of that tax package)… but, it not — all tax filing forms are available via IRS.com at their website, just put in the form #… and then print it or save it with your package.

i don't think you can e-file the hurt spouse form.i have tried but it wouldn't let me,after i was through filling it out they said for me to print it out and mail it in.i have heard others state that they've e-filed it but i never could.
